According to Christian Science Monitor, judges will take the case of Steven Slater very seriously for actions that were potentially dangerous to others. Be that as it may, but I don't blame Slater one bit. Creepy serial killer smirk notwithstanding. My close friend and his wife worked for Air Canada for over 10 years and his father was a flight attendant for over 30 - that man is a contradictory story book onto himself. Impatient and impetuous at home but a super tolerant and masterful flight attendant. Hilarious.
Flight attendants and airport workers as a whole take massive heaps of crap from passengers; sometimes justified and sometimes not.
Let the law do what it has to do but I'm with Slater on this one. I've seen, as many of us have, first hand how many pricks and assholes travel on planes. Bankrupt of any self-restraint, respect or consideration, passengers become idiotic as if they're owed the freaking world at airports.
And the worst is, THEY DON'T LISTEN. It's like being in a kindergarten class. Sit your stupid ass down! It's funny. While Slater will be charged for reckless this and that, what about the woman who a) ignored safety procedures and b) assaulted the flight attendant? Is this not reckless behavior and endangerment too?
I say seek this woman out and have her face the music too.
