The thing I don't get about 'progressives' (aside from appropriating a word for themselves) is it's unclear what they're striving for or what they base their progressivism on. What constitutes progressivism?
This article came by way of Zeus written by Pat 'I want to buy a vowel at a discount' Sajak. It touches on how progressives wanted to ban football in the early part of the last century.
Did you actually use something of mine? No. It was something by someone else that I found. It was almost a boost to my sorry ego.
ReplyDeleteThe article is well written. I thought myself well read about TR, but this story was new to me. The point is that contact sports can adapt and change and still have a great future, even without stupid injuries. The NHL should take a hint from football and TR.
