No, Legault. You DO NOT Speak For Me

Imagine how arrogant of a person you have to be to say you speak on behalf of people. Justin Trudeau did it when he attempted to send condolences to Cuba after Fidel Castro's death on behalf of all Canadians. There was a justified backlash and he changed his message.

Fidel was a close friend of the Trudeaus so naturally, they assumed everyone else held him in high regard as they did. And as usual, the Trudeaus were wrong and misread the people. Westmount white trash doesn't translate well across the population.

Now in comes McKinsey slut and WEF sycophant Francois Legault spewing utter nonsense and ignorance about Russia claiming the Quebec people are behind Ukraine

No we're not.

This guy got 90 seats but in reality, we have a highly divided population to the point he can only speak for his base and that's it.

Listen Frankie Brasseries, WE provided the war. We as in the West. It started with the Maidan Coup in 2014 when the Americans over threw a fairly elected leader they didn't like. They installed their man and Ukraine began a bombing campaign in the eastern part of the country. Russia had been warning this would not tolerate as well as NATOs constant courting of Ukraine. Then, in an act of war and blatant stupidity, the Americans decided to blow up the Nordstream pipelines. Yes, the invasion is illegal but the Russians saw a perceived threat to their national security.

Did anyone cry as the Americans invaded Iraq and Afghanistan (with Canada's help) while having destroyed Libya and bombed the living hell out of Yemen during the Bush and Obama years?

Did Legault notice under Trump there were no new wars?

Legault is a blatant hypocrite. He talks about defending liberty while in our own backyard our 'leaders' crushed civil liberties over public health. What exactly is the definition of liberty to Francois? Indeed, the average Quebecer and Canadian? I can tell you it differs greatly from mine. If you supported the Emergencies Acts and Covid measures, you need new lessons in the concept of freedom and liberty.

And not the ones taught by dumbasses wannabe communists and radical progressives.

It's in hard times, he said, we see great leaders in praising Zelensy he said. Indeed, we saw the worth of Canadian leaders and a majority of Canadians during Covid. We rolled over with cowardly and abusive restrictions demonizing and dehumanizing a segment of the population.

He flouted basic human rights during Covid imposing the most restrictive measures in North America with the worst outcomes in Canada. Thousands of elderly people died under his watch.

All he knows is corruption and political cynicism. So he should know that the Ukraine war is one gigantic money laundering scheme for the American criminal system and its allies. The Biden family, it is known, is very intertwined with Ukraine (as we've learned through the actions of Hunter Biden). For Canada's part, Chrystia Freeland is a Ukrainian ultra-nationalist. Let's not pretend here Canada is fighting for democracy. We're among the biggest arms dealer in the world.

Blinded by our faux-righteous and obnoxious jingoism, lest we forget, Nazism is still alive and well in Ukraine. In effect, Francois, either out of ignorance or not, is saying we should go to war alongside Nazis. Does he not know what the Ukrainian army does to its own citizens?

Legault should perhaps pick up a book or read actual investigative journalists like Eva Bartlett and Seymour Hersch. It's amazing how these people are completely clueless.

Well, war and violence are all they know. They believe to be in a 'righteous' war with Ukraine as they did with Covid.

No, Francois. You DO NOT speak for me.

How about you stop embarrassing yourself by displaying ignorance, and go and fix our crumbling social services? Have you not noticed Quebec is a laughing stock with its chaotic and second-rate public health system? Now it's spilled over into the SAAQ and other services.

We should be focused on our own problems. Stop deflecting.

After all, you just said, in times when we face challenges, true leaders rise up.

I haven't seen it once during your despotic reign.

‼️Fact 1. In February 2014, a coup overthrew the Ukrainian government which came to power in an election certified by the OSCE (Organization for Security and Cooperation). The president, Viktor Yanukovich, was forced to flee for his life.

‼️Fact 2. The coup was instigated by United States officials. Neo-conservatives such as Victoria Nuland and John McCain actively supported the protests. As confirmed in a secretly recorded phone call, Nuland had determined the post-coup power composition weeks in advance. She bragged they had spent $5 billion in this campaign over two decades. Nuland managed the coup but Vice President Biden was overall in charge. Subsequently, Joe Biden’s son personally benefited from the coup.

‼️Fact 3. The coup government immediately acted with hostility toward its Russian speaking citizens, which make up  30% of the population. On the first day in power, the coup regime acted to make Russian no longer an official state language. This was followed by more actions of hostility. As documented in the video “Crimes of the Euromaidan Nazis”, a convoy of buses going back to Crimea was attacked. In Odessa, over thirty  opponents of the coup government died when they were attacked and the trade union hall set afire.

‼️Fact 4. During World War 2, there were Nazi sympathizers in western Ukraine when the Germans invaded the Soviet Union.  This element continues today in the form of Svoboda and other far right nationalist parties. The Ukrainian government has even passed legislation heroizing Nazi collaborators while removing statues honoring anti-Nazi patriots.  The situation was described three years ago in an article “Neo-nazis and the far right are on the march in Ukraine”.  The author questioned why the US is supporting this.

‼️Fact 5. The secession of Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk are a direct result of the 2014 coup. In Crimea, a referendum vote was rapidly organized. With 83% turnout and 97% voting in favor, Crimeans decided to secede from Ukraine and re-unify with Russia. Crimea was part of Russia since 1783.  When the administration of Crimea was transferred to the Ukraine in 1954 they were all part of the Soviet Union. This was done without consulting the population.

In the provinces of Luhansk and Donetsk on the border with Russia, the majority of the population speaks Russian and had no hostility to Russia. The Kiev coup regime was hostile and enacting policies they vehemently disagreed with.  In spring 2014,  the Luhansk and Donetsk Peoples Republics declared their independence from the Kiev regime.

‼️Fact 6. The Minsk Agreements of 2014 and 2015 were signed by Ukraine, Ukrainian rebels, Russia and other European authorities.  They were designed to stop the bloodshed in eastern Ukraine and retain the territorial integrity of Ukraine while granting a measure of autonomy to Luhansk and  Donetsk. This is not abnormal; there are 17 autonomous zones in Europe. These agreements were later rebuffed by the Kiev government and Washington. This led to the decision by Russia on 21 February 2022 to recognize the Peoples Republics of Donetsk (DPR) and Luhansk (LPR).

But isn’t secession illegal under international law? The US and NATO have little credibility to oppose secession since they promoted the breakup of Yugoslavia, secession of Kosovo from Serbia,  secession of South Sudan from Sudan, and Kurdish secessionist efforts in Iraq and Syria, etc.. The secession of Crimea is justified by its unique history and overwhelming popular support. The secession of Luhansk and Donetsk may be justified by the illegal 2014 Kiev coup.

US intervention, both open and secret, has been a major driver of the events in Ukraine. The US has been the major instigator of the conflict.
