Seven months later and this government has learned nothing except to keep the people in fear.
As our inept leaders continue to speak doom and gloom - which means the situation is likely not as dire as they're predicting - the fraying of the social and economic order continues.
They told us to wear masks to stop the spread. It has not happened.
Now. The rhetoric all but confirms Legault will shut things down because he is not following the evolving flow of science.
It is an obscene thing to think that we live in a place where leaders ignore the vast warnings of the greatest thinkers and scientists about the pernicious effects of lockdowns.
It's all but malice that is left.
I wonder. Will Legault have the courage to look in the eye the families who will have been ruined or lost a loved to suicide due to his heartless measures?
He owes the people an EXPLANATION and PROOF of why he plans to shut us down.
In March, it was the 15 days to 'flatten the curve' lie. Now it's 28 days to 'whatever' he and Ford peddle and pimp. With the added bonus of having installed a police state upon free citizens. The elderly are psychologically battered and now they went after the kids.
What we're doing to children locking them up in cages is cruel and unenlightened. We're assaulting they're mental and physical development. These past seven months are seven years to them we have erased. You can't get those key and crucial months back. Isolating them is child abuse. And the state and teacher's unions are the abusers.
Oh the arbitrary stupidity of it all. Come October 29, he will shut down because it's flu season and hospitals always get over run during this period. Who know? Maybe we'll get lucky but he has put himself in a 'precautionary principle' trap he can't get out of. And when he lights a match to our lives, will he have the decency to remove the stupid mask mandates which clearly do not work?
Legault has not courage and he's no leader. He is cowering behind failed measures.
It's not Covid-19 that poses a threat.
It's government.
