Our Values Gap Cannot Be Bridged

It's been a couple of years now I've been looking for any type of positivity I can use to hope we can narrow the values gap so evident and prevalent today.

But then things kept getting worse and worse. From cancel culture to identity politics to censorship, we're living in broken times.

We've all but relegated the twin institutions forming the bedrock of modern civilization in the family and Church to near irrelevancy.

We've diluted education to a point where we're actually regressing.

Literally.

The utter lack of thinking I've witnessed particularly accelerated in 2020 has left me disheartened and in somewhat despair for where all this is heading.

There's no question or doubt in my mind we're mired in modern dark age. The idiot credentialed classes have tyrannized an Idiocracy in their own image. They hold on to their profound stupidity through a series of terrorizing campaigns of shunning and shaming all who stand in their way. They have lit a  fire to our common Western heritage and laughed at the destruction.

Too often I see people in discussion resort to a lazy 'what are your credentials?' as if people aren't capable of forming a reasoned and informative opinion without a lettered designation. Hard for these people to grasp but, yes, we are fully capable of forming a scientific opinion that counters the narrative during the public health hysteria Covid has unleashed.

Appealing to an authority figure is a direct enemy of liberty and of a free mind and soul.

Every where I turn and look it's one maddening comment after one terrible opinion after one awful logical fallacy.

The tree of liberty has to be nourished every so often but I'm afraid they've hacked it down.

We have to plant a new one. And protect it better.

Of the many stupendously ignorant and dangerous things I've heard yet is this piece of blasphemous, and insufferable moronic tomfoolery, Democrat Emanuel Cleaver of Missouri has to come in at near the top.

"Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, D-Mo., altered the traditional ending of "amen" by saying "Amen and awoman" as he delivered the opening prayer for the 117th Congress on Sunday -- raising eyebrows."

Where to begin?

Can we begin?

Why?

If someone sees in 'Amen' a word that somehow elevates men, I don't know what could be said. The person who thinks this has a broken brain.

It's worth noting this man is Methodist pastor.

People tried on his Twitter feed and yet still there you had people applauding it; calling people taking issue with it as 'pearl clutching'. There is no progress to be made from this.

If you explain 'Amen' is Latin for 'so be it' and all they can look at is the 'men' suffix. THIS is the very definition of a dark age.

We have to but stand out of the way of this runaway dreck. There's no way to bridge any of this.

Our values have been divided.

They can't be united.

We can but watch the flickering flame of Western civilization extinguish.

And when it is safe again, someone else will plant the tree and resuscitate her.

Our job is to now just guide the flock who have not be brutalized by ignorance into a haven so that when enlightened minds come back, we can relay what was left of our once mighty and glorious existence.

  1. I m making over $9-k a month working low maintenance. I continued hearing others reveal to me how much cash they can make on the web so I chose to investigate it. Indeed, it was all obvious and has completely transformed me...t.ly/P1lo
