The Immorality Of Legault And Colleges Des Medecins

Since they accord themselves the right to use emotionally charged language, I will do so here in response.

I've grown tired of what amounts to public officials and the medical establishment manipulating people's emotions.

To me it's unprofessional and unacceptable.

And immoral.

They tell us it's 'moral' to stay home isolated from loved ones because you're protecting them.

It's actually the opposite. It's immoral for officials to keep humans apart. Let aside the fact their decrees are without scientific evidence and let's focus strictly on the philosophical side of this chaos.

A chaos they've imposed.

Legault arrogantly tells us he's protecting our conscience.

How is this remotely his place to judge?

He is a flawed man. As we all are.

He also says this was a 'governmental' decision and not one of public health.

Let that sink in.

He essentially bypassed the Charter of Freedoms using this pandemic to impose a dubious measure against a religious holiday for government purposes. In other words, he used a pandemic to politicize a religious holiday in order to protect his own ass. Lest we forget, Legault made an already fragile system all the more precarious with his measurers. And he's shamelessly making people pay the price on the most Holy of holidays.

That says a lot about who he is as a man and the lack of respect he has for Quebecers. He couldn't care less about nurses and citizens.

If this is not a dictatorial move, I don't know what it. I can but look on in dismay and disgust.

How does Le College des Medecins find it appropriate to say the best gift' to give a loved is to stay home isolated?

Given the known social and economic collateral damage the measures they impose have had on people, I'd submit they're actually doing great harm.

Has the CDM forgotten their oath of 'Do no harm'?

How is it that people entrusted with taking public health decisions have determined it's ok to pour all our kinetic energy and resources into tackling a virus with a high survival rate as others pay the price for these decisions?

Legault and the CDM have combined to essentially deprive and rob people of their right to earn a living. During the Holidays no less.

So given this at the very least, is it not fair to ask them to refrain from engaging in such righteous rhetoric exposing their hypocrisy?

And speaking which. Does anyone actually believe - as we've seen with dozens of examples across North America with these cowardly public officials - they will follow their own orders?

I wouldn't.

We're already seeing yet another mixed signal from officials. In the fall they said masks would still be necessary with a vaccine. Now we're seeing more articles as well as the CDM saying the virus will not go away even with a vaccine. So the basic and logical question is: Then why bother with the vaccine?

We're at the point now where the virus is seasonal and is just about done its rounds. By the time we roll out and get the desired amount of people vaccinated, the virus will once again have had final say and determine that it's largely unnecessary. Just my hunch.

You want to impose pernicious measures. Go ahead.

Have the courage and honor to do so without engaging in such obtuse and sanctimonious bull shit.

I've lost an immense amount of trust in all these people.

Many professions have long been hijacked. It would appear the 'new dogmatists' now entrenched  have taken to lighting a fire to our shared and collective facts and truths culled to date. Doctors destroy health (e.g. by supporting lockdowns), judges & lawyers destroy justice (e.g. handing families of terrorists tax dollars while punishing free citizens for free speech), scientists destroy facts (see the climate change cult), psychiatrists destroy minds (by accepting pernicious and unscientific identity politics), religious institutions destroy spirituality (by not punishing bad faith actors and engaging in identity politics), governments destroy freedom (the ONE legit function they have:To PROTECT our rights), educational institutions destroy knowledge (by erasing history and replacing it with propaganda and not teaching critical thinking), media destroys truth (by taking sides and gaslighting).

*****

Nestled in this even is the changing dynamics of politics begun roughly in 2016.

Donald Trump changed the dynamics of American politics, which in turn, will likely impact Canada as well.

It's no longer Liberals v. Conservatives. I don't see the difference between these two parties any more just like Democrats and Republicans are seen as one party in the United States.

This is why we're seeing viable third party options now with the 'populist' rise so derided in popular entetainment (aka news) media. The 'New Populism' is in fact far more inclusive and pluralist than any ideology outside libertarianism (though libertarianism is more a collection of principles than codified ideology).

The configuration can be seen as National sovereignty versus internationalist collectivism.

Or simply: The ruled versus the rulers.

This has always been the case but with the rise of global entities and its encroachment on sovereign nations, this is the latest chapter in the evolution of the human experience.
