A Path To Hell Pave By Incompetent Politicians

Something has gone off the rails in the West.

Is it me or have we lost our sense of toughness?

Just when I thought maybe perhaps the mask hysteria couldn't possibly get any more absurd (with all these low IQ politicians wearing them pushing propaganda), out comes Quasimodo Fauci advising people wear goggles.

Goggles people!

Government officials are requesting people wear shields, mask and goggles now? The micro-managing of our lives should keep people on guard.

Is this not a tad over kill at this point? Canada has roughly 200 cases and four deaths a day!

Can we really blame people who are now starting to wake up a little (though not enough of them) and wondering just what the heck is going on?

Take Ontario now under the thumb of Fat Pumpkin Head Ford and a Education Minister who looks like a secondary character on Leave it to Beaver. These two Karens are  making masks mandatory for school kids in Grade 4 and up.

Emperor Doug Ford has lost his pumpkin seeded mind.

Ontario has under 100 cases in a population of 14 million!

What a national shame and embarrassment. This virus is leading these worthless politicians. They actually think this is 'leadership'.

That goes for teachers as well who are supposed to be pillars of our society. They’re supposed to lead.
Corona obliterated that myth.
Compelling kids to wear masks angers me like little else. Based on the inconclusive science on masks and the actual data and science about being safe to open schools, putting a mask on a child is child abuse in my view and an example of irrational parents and adults projecting their fears onto children. It's intolerable to do this to kids. I'll keep repeating this.

Coronaviruses don't ever go away. How public health officials are deluding themselves and misleading people on this fact is distressing.
I want to throttle every single politician and educator. Get to damn work.
It's not. It's letting fear lead.

Then comes Australia and its drastic shut down of Victoria. PM Andrews went as far as to say if this doesn't work more drastic measures will be enacted.

221 total deaths in Australia to date.

The response is not proportional to the threat.

And there are people, to the extent you can trust Twitter, who applaud these measures saying some variant of, 'Thank you for protecting us and having the courage to take this difficult decision!'

That's not courage. It's cowering and directly negatively impacting people's lives. It's immoral quite frankly to lockdown. Dr. Tegnell's decision to keep Sweden open is courage. He accepted the virus is not going away and understood that locking down and wearing masks indefinitely (without evidence they actually work) is a fool's game filled with all sorts of potential negative outcomes.

It's mighty distressing watching how pathetically weak we are as a society. We're falling over each other trying to manage this virus and we're making kids pay a dear price.

And there will be a price to pay. I'm thoroughly disgusted with parents projecting their fears onto kids.

They say they follow the science. Well, the science says that it's not clear masks work and that it's largely safe to send kids back to school. Europe has shown this. That's the bottom line. A majority of paediatricians have said as much.

Funny how they don't follow the science in this instance, eh?

Yet no one is listening to Sick Children's in Toronto.  So what's his motive exactly?

Who made this decision? Based on what exactly? There's going to be spikes but cases alone are meaningless. What counts is who is getting it and what's their condition.

The government's draconian measures are out of this world.

We've in effect jettisoned almost a century of learned behavior on how we're supposed to fight virus’s in just a couple of months. You know what they say, it takes years to build something (like a recitation) but minutes to destroy. The only real play here is to Isolate the vulnerable, let it go through the people not susceptible and move on. This magical thinking that we can somehow avoid this is retarded hubris at it’s worse. It's like how we put on out unicorn hats and believe we can control Mother Nature. This is what I mean by irrational.

If' I'm a parent and have the luxury, keep them home. Don't subject them to this kid of corona porn. Think of their mental health for once.

But fining people or worse for something that is essentially a ‘shot in the dark’ not only tramples on civil liberties (remember that?) but promoting pseudo-science and stressing mental health.

I watched the announcement at the Toronto Star (I won't link it) but check this creepy presentation:

Seriously. Who decided that the optics of this picture would resonate?

It sends off all the wrong vibes and I question their motives even more when they pull these sorts of stunts. 'Pst. Wanna join a cult?'

As far as I'm concerned the government of Ontario is engaging in child abuse.

Not impressed with Canada.

At all.

Speaking of 'following the science", hydroxychloroquine is slowly being banned from use or at least research on it has been suspended.

Even though  it has shown to be somewhat effective as a treatment particularly when the virus is caught within a 1-4 days time frame.

Remember people. They follow the science: Dubious mask wearing, a rush for a vaccine and faulty kits.

I submit, from what I read, hydroxychloroquine is probably more backed up by science by any of those measures.

People really need to give their heads a shake. Time to start keeping perspective and considering context.

What good is your life without liberty? Do people realize they've not only ceded their personal liberties to opaque government measures, but the entire economic apparatus (outside corporations of course) as well.

This is a terrible precedence people are consenting to.

Weigh the loss of your liberty versus how well these measures work. Stop being emotionally manipulated with vapid 'save every life' jargon. At this point, with U.S. unemployment crashing through 50 million and now foreclosures on people's homes set to explode, that phrase is laughable as it is preposterously irrational lacking in common sense and compassion.

All to soothe an unreasonable excessive fear and false preteens of security.

Part of these measures, I think, are just politicians protecting their sorry asses from lawsuits.

I hope people sue the hell out of governments who have inflicted unnecessary and superfluous pain.
