Liberal Authoritarianism Continues: Bill 71 Passes As 'Independent' Senate Rubber Stamps It

Yet another draconian law passed by the Liberals further curbing individual rights this time Bill 71. A law that does little except to accost a minority of Canadians who happen to own or want to own a gun.

And once again the Senate - the so-called Independent Senate Group - proved to be nothing more than a useless bunch of cowards not interested in protecting civil liberties.

Party over people. Principals over principles.

Abolish the Senate already. It's just a country club at this point and serves no vital purpose on behalf of free citizens.

Bill 71 joins a troubling list of laws including C-16, 69, 48, and Motion 103 that are ideological at their root. Never mind about their carbon tax schemes provinces are wisely rebelling against.

The Liberals should stop calling themselves 'liberals'. I don't know what they are, but liberals they ain't. I'll just go with authoritarian.

It's best to recall the people behind these scams. First among them, Justin who is no stranger to conflict of interests and scandals as well as Minister Barbie - aka Catheirne Mckenna. Who recently revealed in public what most of us already suspected about how disingenuous liars the Liberals are.

It's outrageous really. Shout and lie and they will believe. Are you one of those they smugly mock? If yes, then stop.

All they want to do is curb our rights and tax us out of existence.

The Liberals are out to stomp out 'hate speech'.

Here's the irony. I consider them to engage in hate speech every time they lie about gun owners and rights and climate change - among other issues

Special note to Scheer and Bernier. I hope you're both working hard to take this party down. And when you succeed (I want to believe) I expect you both to REPEAL every single one of these dubious laws that turn Canadians into serfs.

Without doubt, the most scandalous and authoritarian government in my lifetime.

It's time to boot the bastards out.

*****

Bill 71 upset me enough to join gun owners organizations. They pushed me into it.

I can't stand idle and not offer my support to such groups.

If you feel the same way here are a couple you may want to consider.

National Firearms Association.

Canadian Coalition for Firearm Rights.
