Avatar: Whatever

I found Avatar to be a painful movie to listen too. Visually it's a stunner, but the script was tired and insipid. It was so annoying and filled with the usual lame cliches I was pulling for the bad guys even though I knew they were going to lose. Sorta like supporting the Cleveland Browns.

The script was, well, insulting.

But hey, it made a lot of dough so it pleased some people. If we measure a movie's success by the amount of money it makes, then yeah, Avatar is the Mona Lisa I suppose. Me? I watched with my chin in the palm of my hand with one eyebrow raised.
