Came across the comment on a blog discussing Van Jones:
Has anyone noticed that the entire point was to discredit Van Jones and then force him to resign by reaching into his past and pulling at strings that really didnt even exist? Democrats know this game. We reached into Bush Jr.'s alcohol and drug abuse, business failures, etc to discredit the man instead of having the courage to speak directly to him and his issues. Such a moral society we are to see this as any different. Perhaps we'll start to learn our lesson from this... blind emotional propaganda to discredit a personality is an effective weapon when sold to a hateful, hungry mass.
That's a point I'm trying to hammer home here.
That's why I always try to balance facts and fictions whatever side is talking. Not easy but worth the exercize to remain sane.
