And fuck that cop for deliberately going out of his way to goad this guy. Fuck him, his superiours and the department. Fuck the prosecutors while you're at it. How can they possibly believe "justice" was served? How? How can they go home to their families and feel like honorable people?
Fuck the whole system that's "supposed" to be on the side of the people for fucking this guy over.
