Israeli Achievements

When I was a broker years ago, the first biotechnology company from Israel began trading on, if my memory serves me right, U.S. exchanges.

It struck me as a remarkable achievement given the situation in the Middle-East. Out of all those countries, tiny Israel, meant to be thrown into the sea and ravaged my centuries of scapegoating and pogroms, had reached a moment no Arab country came close to achieving.

It's something my late Lebanese father-in-law always respected about them.

In fact, politics aside, one can't deny what Israel has done with their little land.
