Like anything in life, whether you lean left or right politically, when it comes to finances the best remedy to recovery is to take a conservative approach to saving and spending.
That's why propping California as some sort of positive blue-print for economic revival - as the New Republic did - is nonsense.
If anything, you have to do the OPPOSITE of what Progifornia (Progressive California) is selling.
