Two workers were assaulted after those at a new barbecue restaurant in Durham, North Carolina was held up at gunpoint this week.
“We take this very seriously. We want to make sure our guests and our staff are taken care of,” the owner of The Pit told a local NBC affiliate.
The assault and robbery was committed by three hooded gunmen just after 9 p.m.
While the owner does want his customers and patrons taken care of, visible in the front window of the restaurant is a custom-made sign that reads “No guns allowed.”
