It's A Bird, It's A Plane, It's A Wang.....IT'S DERPY DERP!

Too-dee-doo.

Google: Don't be evil.
Still Google: We''ll be evil.

I have to be careful because blogger is owned by Google and I've grown increasingly troubled by its parent company Alphabet and its questionable - if not unconscionable behaviour towards conservatives.

I think they're fully capable of abusing their immense power and just shutting this blog and all the years put into it.

I hope I'm wrong.

Right Google?

Prove to us you're not evil.

And engaging in fake ass woke bull shit virtue signalling doesn't count.

Is it me or has Google dropped the 'don't be evil'?

Moving away from this first world problems.

New Yorkers and Californians continue their exodus.

I'd like to think they'll leave their bad habits and ideas behind but I'm guessing they won't and will import their nonsense elsewhere.

"States that some Americans have already begun leaving for are Florida, Texas and Nevada, all three of which have no individual income tax."

Where they will demand to have an income tax, more regulations and more recycling bins because 'muh civilization'.

In the movie A Bronx Tale, Sonny Lo Specchio said, Nobody cares.

When it comes to the debt, they'd better.

San Francisco goes full weird.

You people who took on roles that are now considered unWOKE. Be very, very quiet. They're coming for you.

You can't make this stuff up: An ACTRESS who is pretending to be someone else played a role in a horribly racist film in 1915 ("Birth of a Nation). She was not racist herself. But students demand her name be removed from a theater.

The WOKEBA (aka NBA) is leading a most important progressive charge.

This one really blows my mind as a student of history.

It's a stupid word that millionaire black athletes decided to speciously claim it's inherently hurtful. Draymond Green can buy and sell 99% of the population on credit if he so desires. Funny how things have reversed itself, eh? As such, he can straight off go fuck himself with this nonsense.

Which is a crock of shit. That white people weren't slaves or were slave owners doesn't a) preclude them from having an opinion and b) is demonstrably false. Whites were slaves. You can only think this if a) you're an illiterate ignoramus and b) choose to believe slavery begins and ends with American slavery.

There's a certain level of narcissism at play here. Blacks don't own history. Even slave history. Their experience is part of a broader human experience. They may want to in order to perhaps shakedown American taxpayers through reparations, but their position is growing increasingly tenable when they demand people today pay for sins of the past.

It was a period in time. One that is a part of the American experience. Many blacks today are completely cut off from it now and are no different than other groups or cultures who were once upon a time slaves. To demand whites - many of whom are immigrants who came after slavery and were perhaps even descendants of slaves themselves - pay blacks  who probably weren't even descendants of blacks is preposterous.

The injustice of it - morally and intellectually - is potentially toxic for a nation not being allowed to move forward.

Democrats are hell bent on ramming through ideas that while on the surface are claimed to be 'righting injustice' in fact create whole new versions of it. Take student forgiveness. Sure, forgive it. But that would be a horrible precedent to the extent it signals to citizens 'hey, you mess up. Don't worry. We'll force taxpayers who didn't mess up to cover you mess.' Never mind pissing off people who dutifully paid off their own damn debts.

Last week I heard Dan LeBatard on ESPN about this topic. I don’t listen to ESPN but from time to time I like Le Batard for the humour. But when he delves into this stuff, he comes off as a  tiresome SJW posing as a ‘reasonable voice’.
I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Basically, it was ‘why does it matter?’ and ‘what’s it to us white privileged folks what word we use?’ and ‘if it offends, just change it’ and ‘it’s not the same that Draymond Green describes himself as an ‘owner’ since white people were never ‘owned’.
I mean really shallow stuff from an ostensibly literate person.
A couple of thoughts off the top of my head.
If it doesn't matter, why bother to make an issue of it in the first place? Either it matters or it doesn't.
Are we forever to be made slaves - excuse the pun - to social engineering the modern vernacular for episodes and events of the past sometimes pulled completely out of context? What happens when someone takes issue with another word they deem to hold a negative impact because of slavery?
All roads end at ‘slavery’ it sounds like. If it happened during slavery and someone takes offence, then it must change. Never mind the word ‘owner’ predates American slavery.
And then comes this false narrative about whites and the institution of slavery. You may be passionate about American slavery but you don't get to act and speak as though all its roads there.
For instance, I’m stunned at the absolute persistence and prevalence in the belief that “white people were never owned.” Plenty of white Christians were enslaved throughout history including the Irish (Indentured slaves). The Children's Crusade is another heartbreaking example of Europeans being captured and sold into slavery. The Ottomans, moreover, enslaved great numbers of Europeans during their reign as empire.
It's unacceptable that among the “college educated” it is common to have very little idea of the scale and scope of human slavery. Do people not read anymore? Judging by the astonishing 'concentration camps' claims made, it sounds like the answer is simply 'no'.
To continue. The biggest slave traders in history were Arabs (and Islam) and slavery still exists in certain parts of the Middle East.
Not Americans who didn't directly traffic slaves. In fact, in the annals of history, black American slavery is a piss in the bucket. It's actually - evil as it was - benign compared to other examples in world history of which there are many stretching back thousands and thousands of years.
The vast majority, moreover, of the Atlantic slave trade went down to Brazil and the Caribbean to the tune of millions whereas the numbers that ended up in America were in the hundreds of thousands. The vast majority ended up in Arab lands where they eventually were killed off. At least, in America blacks ended up - after much heartache - gaining their freedom and even thriving in the long run.
Like Draymond Green, Oprah and Danny Glover; assuming they're descendants of slaves.
All this is to simply highlight it's not uniquely American and obsessing over stupid words does sweet fuck all.
It's but a feature of human misery unfortunately.
The immaturity of it all is astonishing.

"In the 476 months that he’s been in office, Donald Trump has made it abundantly clear that he would like the earth to die in a fire—literally. In that time he has abandoned the Paris climate agreement; unveiled a proposal to freeze rules on planet-warming pollution from cars and trucks; claimed wind turbines aren’t a viable source of energy because the sound they make “causes cancer”; and hired a guy who believes carbon dioxide has been demonized like “Jews under Hitler” to discredit the findings of 13 federal agencies that increased levels of CO2 pose a national emergency. But it was only today that his pièce de résistance, when it comes to letting climate change really rip, was officially put into place."

Oh the humanity.

Party and people of science and reason right there.

"The jury sided with the Gibsons — a decision with profoundly disturbing implications for free speech at Oberlin and on college campuses across an increasingly authoritarian country. Conservative commentators often talk about a supposed crisis of free speech on campuses, wherein students wield the sword of political correctness to silence dissenting opinions. To the contrary, this verdict is a real warning shot against free speech. The fact that those same commentators have widely lauded the verdict reveals their hypocrisy and lays their thinly-veiled agenda bare."

Oh. The projection.

I thought words and speech have consequences.

Wayfair jumps in on the selective outrage act.

Everyday Obama must laugh his ass off.
