Mature Canadian Poetry

I had never heard of Bill Bissett until someone sent me this:

"what wud reelee help
is if president bush n his entire
kabinet wer impeechd
4 war crimes konviktid n
all givn life sentences
without chance uv parole
thats what wud reelee help"

Awesome. Give this man a grant if he doesn't already have one.  I mean, Canadian culture and all that shit, right?

So I dug into him a little.

From wiki:

If he's the Godfather of Canadian poetry A) Canada needs to poem harder, and B) get a new consiglieri.
