Leo Major: Canadian Bad Ass

How this guy is not a MYTHICAL figure in Canadian culture is beyond me. We suck when it comes to praising our best. Spare me we're 'humble' crap. One needs only listen to hockey fans or read about universal health care to know we can roll with the best of them when it comes to insufferable pride.

Leo Major was a French-Canadian solider who - among other crazy shit - "on the night of 13 April 1945, single-handedly liberated the city of Zwolle in the Netherlands from German army occupation."

That is not only movie material but comic book legend.

Read his incredible story here.
