Free Markets Threaten Established Businesses

Those that feel entitled to their market share anyway.

Like cabbies.

The funny thing is, the public know what it wants in some cases as we see with Uber in London. The cabbies went on strike (as they have around the world) and the public responded with a middle finger.

Sometimes I think there's hope for us as a species.

No person or entity should get in the way of a private, VOLUNTARY transaction between free people.

NONE.

"The taxi-booking mobile app company Uber said it experienced an 850 per cent increase new users today as London's black cabs staged a protest that brought gridlock to the city centre.

Up to an estimated 12,000 drivers took part in the “go-slow” demonstration, which began at 2pm, intent on causing disruption to the capital’s roads.
Drivers’ unions said that the rise of Uber is leading people to contact unlicensed drivers without any checks on whether they are legitimate."

Oh my God! Unlicensed drivers! The sky is falling! What drivel.

I love how these boobs went on strike only to prove how disposable they really are. They survive thanks to the racket and bull shit of licenses and permits.
