Debate Hangovers

Eleonore Clift actually made some sense (congratulations. That's more than Chris Matthews) when she theorized that maybe Obama's poor performance was linked to being "over-coached." The President did seem to be over thinking and lost.

Hey, there's always a second debate. I don't think it will be as one-sided. Just applying basic law of averages principles on this one. But Romney still has a card with Libya to play.

Clift also asserted Obama doesn't "like the trappings of politics."

Perhaps but why did he get into politics ? Just like no one asked him to "inherit" the mess.

I don't accept either excuse. He'd better like it or else he'll lose the other debates and will explain why Congress fails to work under his watch.

Love how all of a sudden Liberals are asking "do debates matter?"

SNL spoofed it perfectly: Do elections matter?

If I was a political coach and the President brought up Bain not creating jobs I'd spin it by saying Bain Capital employs over 400 people in 10 different cities in the world.

That's 400 more than you ever did on your own Mr. President with all due respect.
