My friend works for the RCMP and he told me CSIS relies on intelligence from other countries to protect our own borders.
I literally do not understand what the problem is here. You want Canada to be torturing people? You want a massive clamp-down and rampant racial profiling of Arabs in Canada? What are you criticizing here? Do you want massive government intelligence agencies? I'm just completely at a loss because you provided just an article and vague snarkiness. As for the snarkiness, it was more of an overall, general, teasing remark. That's pretty much how we are at times.
As for the rest, I just want Canada to effen be able to defend itself like a big boy; not talk out of its anti-American ass while hypocritically at the same time accept its protection.
Given our size and geographic importance, it's patently naive to not have a secret service operating to protect our borders on its own.
I want competent criminal profiling. Just like you see on Criminal Minds but it feels as though even that would be wrong.

It's not hypocritical to criticize America while also taking advantage of it... that's basically what every American does, anyway. At least you have healthcare.
