The reaction to McLean's accurate article about corruption here was less about a politically engaged society interested in seeking justice and improving our world and more about protecting its own political ass and maintaining a myth about us being a pristine social paradise.
Terrebonne and Mascouche are two towns not too far from Laval and, like anything else here, has buried itself in Southern style corruption.
It wreaks of the Dukes of Hazzard.
