The left is wondering why Obama didn't talk more about GM and the 47%.

First, about GM.

Let this chart speak for itself.

Let me help. From a high of $40 a couple of years ago, GM stock is currently trading at $24. That's a 40% drop.

Obama should not be using GM as proof of economic success.

As for not hammering at the 47%, maybe because the question wasn't asked? Or perhaps because it's, I don't know, fucking stupid? Romney could easily have turned that around and point to the numerous videos on the internet pointing to, rightly or wrongly, gaffes made by the President.
