...on the middle class is 75%.
I suspect it's similar in Canada. I always remind people - ADD UP all the taxes you pay - personal income, property, school, sales, food, corporate, sales, etc.
Then sit back. Think.
It's outrageous people actually advocate more taxes on a fiscal disaster. The state takes all it can take. It's now in immoral territory.

My cousin in Paris who owns a restaurant once told me in response to the tax evasion culture in Italy and France, "if I don't watch it, the government will take 88% of my money. You think I'm a fool, T.C.?"
In Europe, don't think people are sickened by their tax burden. They are. That's why they still emigrate to North America where it's not as bad...yet as a Parisian client of mine likes to tell me.

Who are we kidding? Obama spends like he has his own EBT card:
"...President Barack Obama said: "Since I've been president, federal spending has risen at the lowest pace in nearly 60 years." And then he said, "Think about that.
I went to the White House website to see what sort of historical light the data published by Obama's Office of Management and Budget would shine on his fiscal record.
The data says this: Since fiscal 1930, the earliest year for which the government has made official calculation, only two presidents have spent 24 percent or more of GDP for three or more straight fiscal years that started while they were president. They are Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Barack Obama.
The difference is this: FDR spent more than 24 percent of GDP in fiscal 1942, 1943, 1944 and 1945 — because the United States was fighting World War II..."

As I watched Biden grace Americans with his raging smirk and arrogant smile, it was almost as if he was overcompensating for The Flatliner.
I swear I thought I saw Biden yell at the camera, "that's how it's done, bitch! Where's the hootch?"

The Catholic tete-a-tete between Ryan and Biden was a little anticlimatic. Still, where Biden bit his tongue, he lashed out with smug smirks and angry posturing. Ryan held his own before what felt like an arrogant grand-father blowing off his grandson.
Ryan scored professional points. In terms of content and "substance" it's debatable but I think Ryan stated his case - especially on Medicare - effectively. Meanwhile. Biden did a horrible job defending the terrorist attack in Libya. With all the facts pointing to a disaster and cover-up, Biden did his best to strawman the whole affair.
-CNN polling women showed they were not liking Biden at all. Despite what the networks are trying to spin, looks like voters didn't like Biden either. Here and here.
-Paul Workman at CTV is full of shit. He completely mangled the debate. That was a tie at best. No knock out punch anywhere so for him to go on air and claim a decisive Biden victory is outrageous.
Biden NEVER ONCE had Ryan in a corner. Ryan kept his composure in the face of Biden's condescending "malarkey" behavior. Unbelievable that Workman would spin Biden's antics as something good.
That segment between he and Laflamme making light of Biden's "malarkey" quip made me want to throw my TV out the window.
-The moderator was bad. That Catholic question was silly. Plus she let Biden be too rude.
-It's a type of debate each side will claim victory.
-Best line of the night was when Ryan reminded Biden of how people are vulnerable to saying things wrongly. A clear shot at Biden's notorious loose lips and gaffes.
Thanks for nice post
