This is the face of progressivism gone wrong.
One is this story where an educator links peanut butter and jelly to racism.
Wasn't peanut butter invented by a black man? Carver was it? I learned that watching Eddie Murphy playing a black nationalist on SNL.
Coaching for educational equity? Courageous Conversations? Black and brown boys? And my personal favorite - the creepy, Big Hairy Audacious Goal.
Sounds right out of a novel, eh?
Those are terms that should alarm any sensible individual.
There were many quotes in the article that left me choking on my hummus but this one drives how far in left field we've become:
"We want to teach them to be critical thinkers,”
Right.

Here's what I don't understand: how is perpetually isolating individual groups of people for individualized attention away from the majority something that promotes equality and encourages advanced education? How is repeatedly reminding groups of people that you have lower expectations of them and anticipate their failure something that promotes success? How is it not racist? How does it *not* promote an environment where the entire school is repeatedly pointing to your academic inferiority, and even anticipating it?

And this one where a teacher took offense to a pin Romney t-shirt comparing it to the "KKK."
Just simply outrageous and astonishing how ignorant people can choose to be.
Question.
Curious, have we ever heard of a conservative school or teacher sending a kid home for wearing an Obama t-shirt?
