Yes, because "regulated" food by the government is sooooo much safer. /rolls eyes.

What, people are incapable of making safe, fresh food without the bureaucracy getting in the way that drives the cost of food up?

And if someone made junk, the word would spread so fast they'd cease to exist. That reasonable part of the equation is all but gone to the statist mind.
