    It's just a ploy to get out from under Atari S.A., the French parent company. Well, not exactly... They are in a bit of a bind but, as I understand it, the idea is to get out from under the thumb of the parent corporation and find new suitors. I suppose companies can feel like under-appreciated (or abused) spouses at times.
