I've been repeating this since April. We're in a panic and we can't get out of it.
We've never worn masks or social distanced this long. We've never engage in such widespread fear campaigns like we've done for public health.
This is the greatest health panic in history.
And we have two choices.
Either we accept this as a precedence, or we demand and launch investigations into what happened so that if there were errors (and there were) we MUST identify them so as to avoid repeating the same mistakes (plural because there are several. For example, relying on unreliable PCR tests, assuming asymptomatic spread is not rare, wearing masks, reliance on faulty modelling leading to draconian measures and rushed vaccines etc.) in the future.
This panic has led me into a deeper reading of history. I've explored the world of falsehoods and conspiracies in history and even brushing up on my Hancock.
The pandemic coupled with the dubious election has led me to an uncomfortable new interpretation of past events. This pivot is not new for people who are already there but I've come to appreciate the JFK, Bobby and MLK assassinations and 9/11 in a different light.
There's no question there's supreme incompetent malice on full display with the handling of the pandemic and election fraud. It's just plain obvious. Anyone claiming this was a 'secure' election should just stop.
Which makes one wonder, it's not so conspiratorial to think those assassinations and events weren't 'inside jobs'. Government DOES have the capacity to inflict enormous pain on people even as it claims to be protecting them.
Government officials have kids in masks. We know this is having a terrible and heartbreaking impact on them. But it's for their own good they claim. Based on what exactly?
Government is power and coercion. We know this.
So it's not 'crazy' because where there's motive, there's potential for political intrigue and mayhem.
And there's plenty of motive here.
Always will be.
