Police Aren't Your Friends

Canadian police have a choice.

They can enforce the illegal (and irrational) public health or they can take a page from Sheriffs in California and decline to do so in the interest of freedom and sanity.

I have seen one too many videos of Canadian police beclowning themselves breaking up hockey games, arresting senior citizens, and pulling people out of their homes on New Years eve.

And to add insult to this miserable situation ushered in by idiot public officials (and quite frankly every single bureaucrat who played their own small part in this is just as culpable) one police chief in Halton Steve Tanner split for Florida for the holidays to deal with a 'property matter'. Gee Tanner. Join the fucken club. Except we were told not to and people respected that. The problem is he goes back to enforcing the illegal decrees he BROKE. 

This is where public trust breaks down. And for good reason. 

Don't spare a thought about how difficult the situation for police or bureaucrats are. They all have choices. 'Just doing my job' is not an excuse while civil servants remain silent because of their pensions. 

Police are tools of oppression during this mass hysteria.

As for corporations, I won't be setting foot in companies I know called the cops on customers. I've already gotten comfortable not going into them and don't feel the need to enter them ever again if need be.

Online shopping is far more peaceful.

This is your 'new normal'.

We're a failed society.
