Consider these stats.
In other words, cigarette taxes fuck the poor. And when the poor need their fix and can't afford the tax, they go get it in the black market. When they go black, they're considered "criminals" and get arrested, thrown in prison or worse.
That's progressivism in all their compassion.
Remember. Whenever our socialist-progressive comes up with a policy meant to help people, the opposite happens.
But hey. Conform. If you don't want to get arrested then don't commit a crime. So easy they're outlook.
