Masks Are Making It Worse In Quebec

I have a strong suspicion based on the data we know about masks and known risks of higher infections, this is what's driving the latest spike in Quebec. Study after study, expert after scientist have all warned masks can lead to higher infection rates. See my compilation of mask studies from September 12. 

Yet, we have this bizarre, cultist campaign to 'mask up' the world. It's egregious. I've read articles and comments in threads whereby authors and doctors and people are taking the pernicious stance that masks should be worn even when a vaccine comes. That it's the only way to 'get things normal'.

Over a virus with a 99.8% survival rate? Really?

People need to give themselves a heavy shake because I don't think they realize they're being hysterical.

No. We should NOT wear a mask indefinitely. It's already impacting the nerves of children and speech. 

How these people can say these things without considering harmful effects is incomprehensible. One idiot called people who don't wear masks guilty of 'normalcy bias'. His premise was wearing a mask is the new normal.

We should throw these people off the boat.

Quebec has the dubious distinction of embracing junk science to its fullest. We should be ashamed.

Instead of exhibiting a shred of humility, intelligence and curiosity, Legault still manages to confound us more with adding theatres as places to close. He has put Quebecers under house arrest and criminalized protesting against the right of people to assemble based on JUNK SCIENCE.

These are NOT significant drivers of outbreaks.

Not grocery stores, hair salons or restaurants. 

Legault is mangling the mental health of Quebec with his astonishing incompetence. 

END THE WIDESPREAD USE OF MASKS. 

Latest study:

"Usage of face masks are strongly encouraged by health officials, to prevent the spread and transport of respiratory droplets. In this study, however, we show that a single layer of a surgical mask can atomize a cough droplet into numerous tiny droplets, thereby significantly increasing the total population of aerosols ejected during a single human cough. Although droplets of a broader size distribution are ejected during coughs, we focused our attention towards a relatively large droplet size (~ 620 𝜇𝑚), which shows great affinity to undergo atomization during its penetration through the mask layers. The entire phenomenon was captured using a high-speed shadowgraphy imaging technique at a recording rate of 6500 fps. The single-layer masks were found to be ineffective in restraining cough droplets while no penetration could be noticed for a triple-layer mask. This is because a single-layer or double-layer face mask causes atomization of the droplets resulting in the formation of larger number of droplets with smaller sizes (< 100 𝜇𝑚). These tiny droplets can aerosolize in the immediate environment and can remain suspended for a longer time. Thus, it is recommended to avoid the use of a single-layer or double-layer surgical face mask as a physical obstruction to the ejected cough droplets for controlling the spread of the COVID-19 virus."

Lockdown study in Germany:

"The decline of infections in early March 2020 can be attributed to relatively small interventions and voluntary behavioural changes. Additional effects of later interventions cannot be detected clearly. Liberalizations of measures did not induce a re-increase of infections. Thus, the effectiveness of most German interventions remains questionable. Moreover, assessing of interventions is impeded by the estimation of true infection dates and the influence of test volume."

It's like this in all countries.
