I agree with what she writes about public health and subsidized daycare. What a mess.
Universal care especially I don't get. To those who defend it, it's almost as if they accept the mounting monstrosities in cost and wait times to satisfy a goal that even Douglas probably didn't expect to be so rigid, dogmatic and communistic.
As for daycare, I should write a book. Alas, it was a PQ idea and "sound economics," "private enterprise" and the "PQ" are all mutually exclusive terms.
I'm too indifferent about Margaret Atwood and the Group of Seven - the G7 as it were.
