There are many types of pesto in Italy but I will concern myself with Pesto Genovese here.
Green basil Pesto MUST HAVE the following ingredients to be called Pesto (specifically, Genovese Pesto): Pine nuts, olive oil, garlic, pecorino and parmiggiano. If it doesn't have all of these, then it's a knock-off.
And please, no lemon!
One video is more "rustic" with a song I like and the other more "modern."
