Muslim Conspiracies

In the 'No shit' files, left-wing NPR discovers something many have already known.

French Muslims, not surprisingly, see conspiracies in what happened in Charlie Hebdo.

No kidding. It's what a deranged group of fanatical morons engage in.

Problem is, it's not just the extremists who think this. It's a common feature in Muslim communities.

Notice the comments. Remember. NPR. Progresssive:

"Muslims have to realize if they want to live in "the West" certain things like free speech and the right to criticize all forms of religion are the result of hard-won cultural battles that have been going for at least 500 years. "Blasphemy" is no longer a valid concept in the West. There are many countries, mostly repressive theocratic monarchies and dictatorships where they will surely feel more at home and less "persecuted" for their Muhammed-reverence."

"This article really shocked me. In France, free speech is a right and religion (least of all Islam) is not part of law. These students are in France. How could they live in France, receiving the education, health care, and other benefits of a first-world nation, and have so little regard for the national law against murder. I am not sure why someone so entrenched in the concept of blasphemy would move to a place where free speech and religious-state separation are the law."
