Mercola, BTW, is like most "alternative medicine" doctors. His advice is a mix of good and bad. Some things he says are spot on, others are just quackery.
Well, vaccination is like everything else, in moderation and when necessary. Smallpox was eradicated due to vaccinations, and I don't know what the anti-vaccine crowd has to say about that. On the other hand, we can go overboard too. Every time I went to my doctor under one heath plan I had, I was asked about why I hadn't had a whopping cough/something else vaccine and did I want to have it now (apparently not so much to protect myself, old man that I am, but to "protect the children"). I thought it was bullshit so turned the offer to stick me down every goddamn time they asked. Prison? That's rather harsh, T.C., and there's something called free speech besides.
But, since being in daycare, it's still an irresponsible act because "Admin" (what happened to Nikk?) the excuses parents who don't vaccinate give is pure quackery. Like fear of autism. My family has mental illness up and down including autism and believe me when I say we've researched this to death: It's pure bull.
Nikk left the building, but it's still me. I don't agree with the anti-vaccine movement, but I don't think every big pharma vaccine is necessary either.
He mostly posts on Facebook now. Hasn't done anything at SE for a while. You'll find him here (where I often comment on his posts as my old self, Nikk Jakson): https://www.facebook.com/bretginxalan
No, no, not baking soda, it's apple cider vinegar that cures EVERYTHING!

ReplyDeletePeople who tell others not to vaccinate should be sent to prison.

ReplyDeleteI was being harsh for its own sake.

ReplyDeleteI'm sure Jenny McCarthy is preparing to go on that putz Piers Morgan's show.
ReplyDeleteI can't stand Piers Morgan.
DeleteSpeaking of Morgan, whatever happened to our left-wing friend Brett?
