I'm not terrified of GMO's like some people but this kid impressed me. No 'ums' and 'you knows' in her succinct arguments.
She's 14.
At one point she asked, "should we messing with mother nature?" Nope.
O'Leary, she wasn't saying stop GMO research she was asking for "ethical research" and more long-term studies and labeling. Her position doesn't equate to kids dying in Asia. Nor was she, as she put it, "anti-science." Sheesh.
Kid made her point.
Patronizing attitude aside, O'Leary is using the usual appeals to emotion pretending to be on the side of science.
She schooled you buddy. This wasn't the Dragon's Den.
