Jesus On The Crucifix Drawing Draws Ire From School

Wow. I mean, wow. Wo!

When an eight year-old boy was asked to draw something that reminded him of Christmas he drew this:

It was deemed "violent" and he was sent home and underwent psychological evaluation. Apparently, in the States, there's a thing called "mandatory disclosure" and teachers can get in a lot of trouble if the authorities find out down the road information not reported if a person commits a crime. Crazy stuff. Thank big brother for that one. Tough pickle for teachers that's for sure.

Nonetheless, so much for the 1st amendment. Ironically, through this picture we're all reminded of what Christmas really is about: the birth of Christ and the death for all our sins.

  1. I hope we never come to that state of panic in our society. After reading the link, I must conclude that it was a panic reaction from the school.
The US is so stressed up that it's citizens are bound to do stupid things and it is becoming an evermore dangerous place. They need a huge group therapy...and less guns.

  2. We're not that far off I believe.

As for more dangerous, statistically, violent crime across the board and as a whole in the U.S. are down. Ironically.

America still has a pulse in terms of civil liberties. We gave that up years ago.

It's the state versus the people I reckon is what we're seeing.
