Canada wins a fossil award - or something.
Blah, blah, blah.
Canada, the bestest, brightest, coolest country in the world, is being picked on.
Please. Canada can do all it wants, lead by example, wreck its economy (although I'm not so sure that will happen) and it still won't have any real impact. Not as long as bigger more powerful nations like China, India, Russia and the U.S. don't commit.
Still, it's true Canada talks a nice environmental game but never really takes action. Canadians are wired that way.
Hopenhagen is, as it goes, now useless. The notorious Danish texts made sure of that. It's about global governance; not about climate change.
Harper was right all along to be skeptical of this nonsense.
Anyway, I find it odd that people attack Sarah Palin for her ulterior motives to sell more books when it comes to comments about climate change, but they don't reserve the same skepticism for Al Gore who stands to gain, it looks like, a heckuva lot more.
Qui bono?
