Berlusconi Attacked; Obama's Speech In Oslo; Google's GOOG; Goldman's Risk Taking Staggering

Pretty nasty stuff. Italy's Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi was attacked by a 42 year old man. He was bloodied in the incident and while it's not serious he did lose a couple of teeth.

Italian commentator Beppo Grillo knows where he stands on this episode.

Fellow blogger Wind Rose Hotel has this interpretation. While you're at it, read his post about Pope Benedict XVI expressing outrage over child abuses at the hands of priests in Ireland.

This was probably Obama's best speech. Ironically, he gave it in Oslo for a prize he had no business winning.

He made the case for "moral" and "just" war - one I've repeatedly hammered here over the years - the natural state of man to war and that not all wars are unjust.

Google's Android phone (GOOG) is on its way. Curious to see the impact it will have on the mobile industry.

Goldman Sach's role in the financial nightmare and its risky dealings with AIG are becoming clearer. From the WSJ.
