Legault Is Popular But He's Still Disappointing; Health Canada Still Ignores PROVEN Treatment

I keep hearing that Legault is a businessman and that he wouldn't damage the economy.

But I've been disappointed.

Here's why.

First off, he's a politician now so his only concern is to run things through that prism. So let's not fool ourselves decisions he makes isn't going to be from a strict political calculus that benefits him and his power.

I can be wrong but my main point I want to convey considers another thing.

Businessmen are leaders and one of the key characteristics of a good businessman is to know when to cut your losses and have the courage to pivot from your mistakes.

Quebec made three blunders. One, they failed to protect the nursing home. Like New York, New Jersey, Michigan and other placed, they failed to heed the lessons from Sweden, Italy and Spain. Two, they panicked (and just accepted this unproven theory never tried before as orthodoxy that must be faithfully adhered to) locked down and preposterously shut down schools and daycares. Three, they mandated masks thus inexplicably ignoring decades of proven studies concluding their ineffectiveness as well as data that show at the point they're forced onto a community setting, infection rates go up. It's a measure that doesn't work and never will work.

Another dubious assumption they can't seem to extricate themselves from is the obsession with thinking the virus spreads in restaurants and bars. Quebec is in a 'yellow zone' now. Whatever that is.

Some sort of arbitrary chart where if you have 'X' amount of cases you're in one color and if you're in another number of case, it's another color. It's like Sesame Street.

Quebec has 300 cases in a population of 8.4 million people. Soon, with flu just about to crash the party like a drunken sailor looking for his desires to be satisfied, the 'we don't want to overwhelm the hospitals' is about to make its second appearance.

I don't mind they're trying to be proactive in wanting to avoid this.

I even don't mind if they encourage social distancing (even if it's not exactly a purely scientific measure), limiting gatherings to a reasonable level and heck, let me throw a bone to people and even say voluntary mask wearing. Other than that, not sure what else they can do.

But they have to change their tone and rhetoric. The other day there was a report about this messaging problem and once again the media failed to offer a nuance view on things as public health officials weighed in with their usual 'we must remain scared and be more vigilant and clear on our demands' which have an exact opposite effect on the young and skeptical.

As proper.

Legault is behaving less like a man in control and more like a manager incapable of making hard decisions choosing instead to defer the health bureaucrats.

The situation screams for a much more enlightened approach. The social angst and stressed we've caused with the elderly and children is cruel and borderline human rights abuse.

Saying it's to protect them doesn't detract from this anti-human behavior.

And it's not like we don't have examples. Norway, Denmark and Holland have all mostly avoided having psychologically traumatized their populations. There's not talk of mandatory anything.

But an even better example is Sweden. The world's pariah has always been on the right side of this issue having actually followed established science.

Lockdowns and masks are not scientific.

Sweden made the rational call that the virus is out there and it made no sense to pretend they could micro-manage life (read stealing people's lives and liberty).

Legault instead is sticking to a stale script. Worse, his rhetoric is less Swedish and more Australian.

Polls apparently show he's popular. Not sure why given we just copied other jurisdictions when it comes to this pandemic casedemic.

I was told that it's to avoid overwhelming the hospitals. Again. This time we didn't lock down. This time we decided a micro-mamangement strategy would work. The key measure in this scheme?

Masks. In addition to social distancing of course. Which no one really adheres to for an extended period of time. Man is social being. It's biological. You can't social engineer that. People want to touch each other. They want to see human emotion. On what planet does Quebec think, based on astonishingly weak evidence, this is appropriate on not just a scientific level but a human one?

As we enter the third month of this excessive and coercive mask mandate we've learned it doesn't work. Yet, I've observed we're now among few jurisdictions in the world to have maintained this pseudo science approach for this long. That is, no nation or city has done this ever.

As usual, Quebec shows the world NOT what to do. You would think someone in Sante Publique actually read data (or if they do they're either ignoring it or reading and choosing the wrong ones to copy) but once again the CDC shows masks do NOT WORK.  It's not in the text but if you read the table, you see masks have no impact.

What I'm trying to figure out is why the CDC says publicly to wear masks, yet their own studies undermine it. Is it political? If so, why?

Yet, in the spectacularly foolish wisdom, Legault and Arruda flippantly think people are all just going to adjust and learn to use masks properly, social distance and add masks to their monthly budgets.

Easy, sneasy.

Not content with having failed the elderly, Canadian and Quebec officials have decided to move on to traumatizing children.

Bravo. You've managed to psychologically scar our two most vulnerable demographics.

September 30 South Park airs. They will be taking on the pandemic. I hope it will be epic. And if this pic is any indication, they're about to unload of the sons of bitches.

******

Speaking of sons of bitches, Health Canada had issued a warning on HCQ and from I gather, it isn't allowed to be used as a treatment for Covid-19 patients.

This is inexcusable and only keeps prolonging and dragging out this ordeal.

The science behind the use of HCQ is CRYSTAL CLEAR that it does work when administered early and properly. Yales Dr. Risch has spoken out about this lambasting Fauci for denying it.

Here's a link to peer reviewed results from doctors in real time. The evidence is not in dispute anymore.

Health Canada is NOT following science and quite frankly are complicit if any deaths occur that could have been avoided.

I'm tired of the incompetence and ignorance.

We're governed ruled not by an enlightened ruling class but a mediocre-technocracy.

Wake up Canada for pete's sake.
