It's just astonishing what I'm seeing from public officials in Canada.
Yesterday was a sobering day for Canadians. Here's why.
Our resident nincompoop (Tam, please resign for the love of God) says:
"Canada’s rising COVID-19 reproduction rate ‘not a good sign’ as schools reopen"
Schools aren't even open and they sound alarms. At every turn they speak with alarmism.
I thought the principle ethic guiding doctors is do no harm. But I see them doing great harm by not considering the consequences of their actions.
This is having a profound negative impact on the overall morale of people.
If you keep pounding people in the ground keeping them in fear, this is bound to leave people without hope.
Why are they doing this? Does anyone pay any damn attention to what's going on in Europe? Why are we inching towards Australia and New Zealand? Why would anyone think copying those fools is sound science?
True leadership steps up and lead the people by being optimistic. Build an atmosphere of confidence and a sense that we will overcome it without the constant threat of destroying our economy and lives.
The idea that they refuse to acknowledge lockdowns have been a disaster on several fronts (social, economic and psychological) makes them sociopaths and immoral because it's inexcusable; it's acting with malice.
Canadians need to speak up.
Know what's 'not a good sign'? Our governments taking us on a path to destruction.
We're only delaying the inevitable. We're simply ignoring science thinking we can 'micro-manage' this virus that clearly is out there and will do what it does despite our dubious measures.
Let this thing burn through. It's the only option at this point. We'll be the last country to get over the hump if we keep with this lunacy 'suppression' theory.
Pseudo-science is driving our panic.
