The second link I included because it was a pretty comprehensive list despite mistaken statements like 'expulsions of Jews in Italy in 1593'.
There was no 'Italy' in the 16th century as we know.
As such, the claim isn't helpful because when I went to see which city executed the expulsion I instead got links to how the city of Livorno welcomed them.
The worst atrocities (pogroms) mostly took place in Spain, Germany, France, Portugal, Hungary, Ukraine, Serbia and Russia (where it all began).
Today, anti-semitism is alive and kicking.
