When I looked at the Toyota story it reminded me of one thing. That sometimes large corporations are indistinguishable from large government bureaucracies. Waste, inefficiency and slow, cumbersome reaction times exist in both. Which makes me wonder, how big is too big?
Both have a sickness that compels them to enhance red tape. So many people to pay. So many idle hands. Someone has to come up with something. Someone has to justify the pay, eh?
"Good job, Patty! Way to go! Your latest form forcing really has the customer in mind!"
Still. If I had to choose...bah.
