Of Cordoba, NYC Mosques And Maimonides

In a past post I talked about how Cordoba, in light of the proposal to build a Muslim community center, was a "tolerant" place. However, as a friend pointed out, it wasn't always the case as the story of Maimonides shows. He was eventually expelled once the Almohades, a fanatical Berber sect, conquered Cordoba.
