I notice a similarity with the Liberal party of Canada and the GOP in the Uuuunited States. The GOP is losing its mind over Obama's big spending and expansion of government, yet when in power they act in the same darn manner. "Elect us! THIS time it'll be different! Maybe" is their motto.
In Canada, liberals are getting themselves all contorted over Harper's lack of transparency. Aside from the fact that this is a normal feature in Canadian politics - so filled with patronage and the sort - they wrote the book on clouding the process when they bitch-slapped this country into submission in the 1990s.
They remind me of a pain in the ass guy who, thinking he's funny and cool, tries to flick those little wooden matches at people by sparking them on a little match box but fails each time.
