So the NBA decided to ban Sterling 'for life' while forcing him to sell his team the L.A. Clippers.

The NFL and NBA are leagues filled with thugs and criminals (Ray Lewis for fuck sakes HAS A JOB ON TV) who have committed actual crimes. To say nothing of racists who likely exists on both sides of the color divide.

Which makes Clippers head coach Doc Rivers concern about not knowing what his future will be bizarre. Funny that given he - and the players - didn't mind taking crackers money before this. More importantly, the drug war, the government monopoly on education and licensing are all far more detrimental to society of all races yet not a peep from people about how it ravages communities.
Instead of just letting the market - fans and players alike as well as advertisers - run its course and let this guy disappear into the night, the NBA and its howling harpies decide to pull this stunt. That and it cut into part of the soccer game today.
Last, the cynic in me tells me this story stinks. From Sterling to Stiviano to Silver to Magic (who wants to buy the Clippers).
