Don Cherry claimed on Hockey Night in Canada this week that he was the first NHL coach to allow a woman in the locker room in response to the usual media's predictable reactions to his commentaries.
Interesting. I didn't know that and not sure how to verify that. It's not like we can expect journalists to be objective and do their fucking jobs and research this. Nah, they're too busy with designing articles with faux-outrage while judging others. To much time is invested judging other people in sports.
Then I gotta listen to them act all smug towards bloggers. Sorry that some of us to buy into half the crap you spew. God, listening to some baseball writers with Hall of Fame votes makes me want to eat grass filled with worms. I'd probably get more out if it.
He further explained that for him, out of respect for woman, you don't put them in a foul environment like the locker room. Of which Ron McLean countered that it's a "work space" and couldn't keep them out.
Fair enough - and Cherry never said he was against women being reporters all he said was he didn't believe they should be in the locker room. Big fucking tickle. My wife happens to agree with him. In fact, I'm pretty sure plenty of women would agree. Are they all idiots? My wife holds a Masters degree and is an independent woman with career and has a higher IQ than the majority of writers who chastise people for not holding the same opinion as they do.
Fucking bloody, one-trick, stale tyrants.
As I said in a previous post, no one should have access to the locker room. I know if I was an athlete the last person I'd want to see is a fucking reporter asking dumbass questions - especially if I lost.
I hate losing.
But hey, I'm a misanthropic, miscreant, misogynist white guy....like Don Cherry - according to modern standards.
