The Continued Morbid Wounds Of Liberal Orthodoxy

Now that we've had the benefit of seeing what really went on in Benghazi (I know, it's all a vile Fox news driven news cycle and a witch hunt by Issa...yawn....good night kids), if Professor Posner doesn't realize the vapidness of his positions, then there's no hope and we can but throw him in the useful idiots bin.

People who believed it was the video from the get-go are a bunch of naifs who belief in a certain narrative that's simply not there.

When I was 12, I read two documents that always stuck with me. The Magna Carta and The American Constitution. In those two documents, we see man's struggle for liberty is a massive and unending journey constantly threatened. History is BUT about tyranny and subjugation.

My long, long long experiences and readings since then haven't changed my views. If anything, as I grow with more and responsibilities, it has been strengthened.

It is rather sad for Posner to take a position that lowers him to the rest of the world where concepts of liberty are alien concepts. This is not because they're more advanced or enlightened societies. Rather, I would argue, it's the exact opposite.

America is enlightened. The 1st amendment is a sacred part of YOUR Constitution. That his ilk are arrogant enough to believe they're more progressive than the men who penned it is something to behold. Those guys actually KNEW and UNDERSTOOD history with such sobriety it should shame us all.

Every time something goes against liberal orthodoxy they seek to change the Constitution. Rather than debate their arguments in the halls of ideas, they seek to shun debate and coerce their views upon others.

It's the very definition of what I mean the liberalism is a philosophical carcass. A shit stain in the realm of ideas. Once proud, independent, iconic and intelligent, it's over run by regressive Hun-like people.

It's not normal to play this relativist game. I really couldn't care less if the world doesn't comprehend the 1st amendment. I'm Canadian and I cherish it. I cherish it because it APPLIES TO MANKIND.

Who doesn't want to be free?

America has its own trajectory to follow; its own course.

I'd much rather follow America than what's being currently offered in stagnant societies.

I thank the Lord people like Posner exist.

He reminds us that the march towards liberty - true liberty - is on the run and that we must double our efforts and rid us of these mad tyrants.

"Americans need to learn that the rest of the world—and not just Muslims—see no sense in the First Amendment."

Therein lies the difference between success and failure.
