Meh.

This coming from a society that lets the evil Karla Homolka out on the streets.

There's a problem when your system allows for defense attorney's to play act and manipulate the system on behalf of known and obvious criminals (remember O.J. and that dude that defended John Gotti?) and that they could get off on a "technicality."

That this guy can be granted his request is of no surprise.
