It's always nice to see a Canadian angle to film making. Even more so when the connection is Montreal as is Barney's Version. Of course, Mordecai Richler is a Montreal literary institution not unlike Leonard Cohen.
I read the novel years ago. Maybe I should give it another go around.
Paul Giamatti plays Barney Panofsky.
