Poor guy.
Words offend him.
The modern athlete is insufferable.
NBA stars and coaches can yap and flap their gums (pompously even in some cases) about their opinions on issues that may offend part of their fans basis, but heaven forbid they vent and express themselves.
When Pop and James talk it's free speech and 'truth to power', when the fans do it it's 'disrespectful'.
So it's easy to say, 'oh, shut up and dribble'. You're not above anyone.
The Woke ESPN stinks, as if it's not obvious by now, because it automatically sides with the athletes. Some of the worst commentary on history and social issues come from ESPN in my opinion. I rarely see them (and most journalists) ever side with the fans. The fans are the deplorables.
Yet...
They pay the tickets. They're the ones who keep the whole damn thing rolling with no financial gain. If they're vulgar good. Quite frankly, I hate sports in its current form. Corporate, formulaic, clean....the true, hard core fan has been all but rooted out. The best section are inhabited by a bunch of tight asses who twitch if they hear a bad word.
It's boring.
Westbrook is boring.
As is Lebron James.
And millionaire athletes who complain.
EXHORBITANT SALARIES PAID FOR BY THE FANS.
Quit your yapping Westbrook and do your job.
Jesus, what a whining bunch of babies we've become in North America.
Words offend him.
"As Westbrook walked to the tunnel following the Thunder's 96-91 loss, where he scored 46 points on 43 shots, he slapped at a fan's cellphone. It was the second interaction Westbrook had with a courtside fan, with him turning and snapping at one that said something to him as he exited the floor at halftime.
"I think it's something that needs to be brought up," he continued. "I'm tired of just going out and playing, then the fans saying whatever the hell they want to say. I'm not with that. If I was on the street, they wouldn't just come up to me and say anything crazy, because I don't play that s---. So, to disrespect me and do whatever they want to do needs to be put to a stop, especially here in Utah."
Gah.The modern athlete is insufferable.
